About Erin
I LOVE DOGS.
I have four of them: Pip, Patch, Peanut, and Ella Bean. That’s them in the photos above.
I love the rambunctious dogs who live to play. I love the chill dogs who just want to hang out. And I have a big, huge place in my heart for the dogs who’ve grown scared and need love more than anything in the world.
All my life, whether I’m working with my dogs, clients’ dogs, or shelter dogs, I’ve found that the reward I get from spending time with animals is 100 times greater than what I give.
I’m guessing you’re the same. You love your dog so much, you just want a happy, fulfilling, fun relationship with him. You want her to have the best life possible for all she gives you.
The truth is dogs need all the help we can provide, especially in a world so prone to communication breakdown and troubled relationships that really don’t have to be that way. Yet more than 1 million animals are euthanized every year. That really hurts my heart.
My goal with Barktastic Behavior is super simple: to bridge the communication gap that can exist between people and their dogs and to make life more enjoyable for everyone. I want to give dogs as much opportunity as possible to make good choices, as we try not to control them but offer positive reinforcement for the behavior we’re seeking.
One dog and one owner at a time, I’m helping build the unbreakable bond between people and their furry best friends.
I’m SO excited to be their advocate.
